The government is late on millions of dollars of bills.

Because of this, WAPA is late paying millions of dollars of bills to Vendors.

The vendors charge WAPA millions of dollars of interest.

WAPA asks for a rate increase that we, the citizens all have to pay so that WAPA can pay back the interest.

The government doesn't pay a rate increase.

The cost of the increased interest from late payments is passed on to you.

How is this fair?

We need a brighter day in the Virgin Islands.
